Macrosoft Positioned for Double-Digit Growth with Naming of
New President Dr. Edward Sable

Parsippany, NJ - October 18, 2005 - Macrosoft, a leading-edge software design and development company, today announced that Dr. Edward Sable has joined the company's leadership team in the newly created role of President, designed to extend the company's commitment to growth under Macrosoft CEO and founder Dr. Ronald Mueller.

"Ed Sable brings to Macrosoft a powerful combination of business experience and technological expertise that will enable us to continue to provide clients with best-in-class solutions in software development projects," said Dr. Mueller. "He will be an invaluable addition to a leadership team that is committed to growth and to creating a culture of innovation that is second to none."

Dr. Sable joins Macrosoft after two years as President and founder of his own technology consulting firm, where he first encountered Macrosoft through a partnership with the firm.

"Macrosoft consistently delivered projects that exceeded client expectations while staying within budget and time constraints," said Dr. Sable. "I'm delighted to be part of that unwavering commitment to clients full-time now. And in a world where technology consultants frequently move from place to place, it is a unique pleasure to be working with a firm where the average tenure of employees exceeds five years."

Dr. Sable's professional career before founding his own firm was spent at AT&T, beginning with Bell Labs, where as Technical Department Head and Division Manager he and his teams delivered on many of AT&T's major technology and global business initiatives.

As President of Macrosoft, Dr. Sable is responsible for leading the company through double-digit growth over the next several years by continuing to augment staff, expand managed team services, and increase sales of turnkey solutions, including:

  • Resources on Demand, a web-enabled system for utility companies to manage resource requests and track personnel movement during emergency outages

  • ISBN-13, a solution for conversion to a 13-digit International Standard Book Number (ISBN) rather than the current 10-digit format.

  • Returns on Demand, an efficient Logistics Management solution that enables companies to control and manage their returns effectively and understand how these returns are impacting their business

  • Print on Demand, a set of applications to support both commercial and company internal printing and fulfillment. Utilizes a proprietary PDF engine along with eXstream Software, PDF Express, iText, Quark Express and many other desktop publishing tools for customized web-to-print applications.

Dr. Sable earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Electrical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University.
